Projects by place
Each entry names the location and records what changed. Fees sit inside our usual consultation (£95–£220) and package (£700–£3,600) bands unless noted.
- Ancoats mill living room
- A wide concrete floor and industrial windows left the household feeling exposed. We placed a deep sofa with washable covers as a soft divider, added a large wool rug under the seating group, and hung lined curtains that stack clear of the radiators. Moss paint on the end wall warmed the cool light without fighting the brick outside. Living-zone package near £1,650 after a £180 consultation.
- Northern Quarter open-plan flat
- Kitchen, dining, and sofa shared one room above a busy street. We chose a round table for six that still allowed the fridge door to open, dual-purpose dining chairs, and a slim sideboard for bags and post. Sheer curtains reduced overlooking while keeping evening sky visible. Combined-space scheme: £2,100.
- Victorian terrace in Chorlton
- Narrow halls and a bay-front sitting room needed furniture that did not block the fireplace path. Slim armchairs replaced a deep sofa; a chimney-breast shelf held books; curtains were cut to clear the radiator. Upstairs, two children’s bedrooms shared a calm moss-and-warm-white palette with washable bedding. Multi-room package £2,900; consultation £200.
- Seasonal refresh in Didsbury
- A family already happy with their layout wanted winter textiles and better lamps. We swapped summer cushions for denser throws, added a second floor lamp in the living room, and wrote a short summer reverse list for storage. Fee £850 after a £120 visit.

Reading the list
These notes describe finished schemes, not a catalogue. Layouts and textiles were chosen against each home’s light, landlords’ rules, and the paths children and guests actually take.
